DIF Celaya in coordination with the State of Guanajuato bring training workshops to women in communities / @jmendozamarquez @municipiocelaya >>>

#Celaya, #Gto.- This week in the community of San Antonio Gallardo, the Instituto Estatal de Capacitación IECA and the Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia del Estado in coordination with DIF Celaya, presented certificates to women from the Red Móvil, Salud y Bienestar Comunitario group, after they accredited the knowledge, skills, abilities and attitudes of the sewing and dressmaking course.

The coordinator of Red Móvil, María Lourdes Elizarraraz Sandoval, informed that the training lasted 20 hours simultaneously in the communities of Presa Blanca and San Antonio Gallardo and that there were 19 beneficiaries between the two locations.

The participants learned how to trace, cut, sew on a sewing machine, sew by hand, among others, with the purpose of learning how to make garments, and that in some way these tools will help them to develop their work and have a higher income for the welfare of their families.

Among the skills they learned are how to identify and know the tools for measuring and tracing, making basic templates for women’s pants, and how to use a straight machine, which were taught by Verónica Ramírez, who was sent by the state.
